About Sevrel
Sevrel is an AI-powered document intelligence platform for commercial real estate, built by Romulus, Inc. It gives owner-operators and property managers source-linked answers about their leases, budgets, and tenant files, tracks critical lease dates, and helps manage tenant document intake — with detected PII redacted before document text reaches any AI model.
Why Sevrel exists
Commercial real estate runs on documents. Leases, amendments, budgets, rent rolls, insurance certificates, tenant correspondence — the answers an operator needs usually exist already, spread across folder trees, inboxes, and spreadsheets. Getting to one has meant opening a PDF, reading hundreds of pages, searching for specific terms, and hoping you don't miss anything.
Sevrel exists to make that document layer answerable. Ask a question in plain English and Sevrel searches the material you have authorized, returning source-linked answers designed to cite the documents behind them — so a claim can be inspected rather than taken on faith. Citations and AI output can be incomplete, so verify material claims against the governing documents.
Sevrel works alongside the systems teams already run. Property-management and accounting platforms such as Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio remain the systems of record; Sevrel sits on the document layer. It connects to the places documents actually live — Google Drive, Egnyte, or direct upload — plus email and calendar through Microsoft Graph and Google.
Privacy is a design constraint, not a feature: detected PII is replaced with typed [REDACTED_*] tokens before document text is embedded or sent to any AI model, and on the commercial API, customer data is not used to train the models and retention is limited by default.
