Works with the systems you already run
Sevrel connects to the document storage, email, and calendar your team already uses — through authorized, organization-level access your administrator grants — and answers questions from the material you point it at. It works alongside the systems of record it does not replace.
How connections work
Every connection follows the same pattern. An administrator authorizes Sevrel during onboarding with organization-level OAuth credentials; the resulting tokens are stored encrypted, and Sevrel does not store your account password. Provider permissions vary by integration, so what Sevrel can see and do is bounded by what your organization grants. Documents become answerable after provider discovery and indexing complete — timing varies with provider availability, file type, and queue state.
Source files stay in the configured provider. Sevrel fetches content for processing and may persist extracted/indexed chunks and necessary metadata; sensitive write actions require explicit confirmation. You can disconnect at any time.
Google Drive
When you connect Google Drive, Sevrel requests read access to find authorized documents, and may request the limited drive.file scope for files created through Sevrel workflows. It reads the leases, budgets, and tenant files you authorize and produces answers designed to include source evidence — so a claim can be inspected rather than taken on faith.
Egnyte
Sevrel connects to Egnyte with OAuth credentials scoped to your organization and to a configured base path — typically the shared property-documents folder. Within that scope it searches file names and folder structure, reads document text (PDF, Word, Excel, plain text), and links answers back to the source files. Personal folders and files outside the base path are not accessible. The Egnyte deep-dive covers setup, access boundaries, supported file types, and troubleshooting.
Microsoft 365
Sevrel uses your organization's Microsoft account for sign-in — if you can log in to Microsoft 365, you can log in to Sevrel, with no separate password to manage. Email and calendar then run through Microsoft Graph, described below. SharePoint and OneDrive are not document sources Sevrel can read today.
Email and calendar — Microsoft Graph and Google
Connect Microsoft 365 or Gmail from Settings → Integrations. When enabled, scheduled triage reviews a capped set of unread messages and can propose a follow-up, such as a maintenance work order — it does not act externally until an authorized user approves. Calendar works the same way: proposed reminders sit pending your approval, and nothing is added to your calendar until you confirm.
Direct upload
No connector required: upload leases, rent budgets, shared cost adjustments, and amendments directly. Direct uploads and derived search data are stored securely, and customer data is not used to train AI models. Availability of any connector can depend on your organization's configuration; the roadmap lists what is connected today and what is planned but cannot be connected yet.
Works alongside Yardi, MRI, and AppFolio
Sevrel is not a property management or accounting system. It does not replace platforms such as Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio, and it does not natively integrate with them — they remain the systems of record for the teams that run them. Sevrel sits on the document layer instead: the leases, amendments, budgets, and tenant correspondence those systems track but do not read.
In practice, teams keep their accounting and property-management stack exactly as it is and use Sevrel to ask what a clause actually says, which amendment changed it, and where the source evidence lives — with answers designed to cite the underlying documents. Citations and AI output can be incomplete, so verify material claims against the governing documents.
